The ladder answers one question: how good is a player, based on real results and their own contribution?
In short
  1. Only qualifying team games count: real team games played with clanmates. Small or random games are ignored.
  2. Your own contribution is what matters. In every qualifying game your play is measured against the teammates who were next to you, so map size, team size and game length do not decide your rating.
  3. Consistency beats a few lucky games. Your rating is built from your whole history, and doing well against strong teammates is worth more than doing well against weak ones.
  4. One Team ELO per player, from all clans. If you play for several clans, your qualifying games from all of them go into the same rating. No game is counted twice.
  5. 10 qualifying games in total are needed to appear on the official ladder. Before that you are in placement.
  6. Your rank (Wood to Grandmaster) is simply the ELO range you fall into.
Name changes don't matter

Players are identified by their permanent OpenFront public ID, not by nickname. If you rename, all your games stay on one profile.

Ranks minimum ELO for each rank
The exact formula behind Team ELO is TeamStats.pro's own and is not published. Changes to it are tested on the whole player base before they go live.
